Ivan Joseph Theodore Carr

Born in Huntsville on December 23, 1932 to Robert and Violet Carr, Ivan passed away October 4, 2021.

 Affectionately known in his younger days as “Bimbo”, Ivan delivered milk for the Huntsville Dairy before he and his wife, Kathleen, started the Carr’s Cleaning company.  He is also remembered by many as their school bus driver when he worked for Goodwin Bus Lines.

Ivan was a member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and served faithfully each day until his death.

Survived by his sons: Alan (Sue), Timothy and Neal (Denise) and his daughters: Annette Cowling (Doug), Kathy-Joan and Michelle.

His grandchildren: Joshua (Gabrielle), Cody (Laura), Travis (Kayla) and Kaytlin (Kyle).

And his great-grandchildren:  Carlie, Leyana, Scarlett, Jackson, Harlow, Irelynn, Meadow and Natalia.

He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen and their daughter, Margaret.

Also survived by his siblings: Howard (Muriel), Orla (Phyliss), Weldon (Sally), Sandra Pratt (Terry), his sister-in-law Jean Leason and many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by Cecil, Calvin, Wayne and Ethel.

A memorial service via zoom is scheduled for Saturday October 16th at 2pm.
