Georgena Faye Rhiness

The family of Georgena Faye Rhiness are sad to announce her passing in her 88th year, on Thursday February 9, 2023.

 Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice with her daughters at her side.

 She is predeceased by her husband Jesse (Jan.4,2015), her parents George and Pearl Mitchell, and siblings Bert ,Viola, and Ella.

 She will be sadly missed by her children Brian (Janice), Nancy (Kevin), Sherry (Peter).

Grandchildren Brandon, Michael (Ryan), Kelly (Tyler), Lindsay (Matt), Megan (David), Courtney (Alex), Kyle (Alex).

Great grandchildren Nahanni, Ila, Aurora, Piper, Mackenzie, and Liam,

also many family members and friends.   

 Faye's first job was at the T.D. Bank in Huntsville. After raising her family, she went to work at VIPCO Communications and continued there after the Sibeon family purchased the answering service, until her retirement .  

 After her retirement Faye volunteered with the Lioness Club and Salvation Army.

Faye was an avid reader, loved gardening, bird watching,

and family get togethers.

 She was a member of All Saints and St. John’s Anglican Church Huntsville.

 The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, PSW's, staff, volunteers at Muskoka Landing for their excellent long term care of their mother.

Dr. Kent, nurses, PSWs, staff, volunteers at Algonquin Grace Hospice. The family is so appreciative of the compassionate care given to Faye and her family.
