Lorraine Kathleen Best (May)

The death occurred peacefully at Muskoka Landing, Huntsville on Saturday, August 30, 2025 of Lorraine Best. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Ella May (nee Smith), brother Stevie and sister Janette Brown (nee May) and brother in law Graham Brown.

Lorraine is survived by her husband Stephen Best, their son Sean, brother Allan May and his wife Bev, Sister in law Donna Best and her husband Terry Sararas and brother in law Bill Best and his wife Whendy.  She will be missed by all of her nieces, nephews and friends.

A private graveside service will be held. A reception will follow at the Mitchell Funeral Home on Monday, September 8th, 2025 from 1-3pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Muskoka Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
