Born and raised in Huntsville, Jane attended Pine Glen Public School and Huntsville High School. She left for college, married, and eventually moved back to town to raise their children. Life was busy, and she was thrilled to start a career with TLDSB, where her primary joy was working with staff and students for 24 years at Huntsville High School.
Jane was an avid reader, gardener, and enjoyed traveling, camping, and her dog, Whiskey.
Having lived with cancer for several years, we thank Huntsville District Memorial Hospital, particularly the chemo staff for their considerate care. Special thank you to Dr. Harrold, the Palliative Care Team, and amazing staff at Algonquin Grace Hospice for ensuring Jane's final days were peaceful. We are fortunate to have such caring facilities in our community. Thank you also to Rev Kelly Baetz and Mitchell Funeral Home.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday January 24th at 11:00am at All Saints Anglican Church, Huntsville.
