Beverley J. Robinson (Dunne)

On April 20, 2026, Beverley “Bev” Robinson passed away peacefully at her home in Dorset, Ontario, at the age of 92.

Bev is survived by her husband Brad, her daughter Joanne (Willie), her grandson Ryan (Jess), and her brother Malcolm (Stephanie), as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents Stella and Aubrey Dunne and her brothers Barry and Murray. The family also wishes to acknowledge and thank her caregivers who took such good care of her over the years.

 She attended Huntsville High School and North Bay Teachers’ College. Bev was proud to have been the teacher in the one-room schoolhouse at Brown’s Brae, near Dorset, in the 1950s, where she taught Grades 1-8 all in one classroom.

 Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in her 20s, Bev managed the physical tolls of the disease and defied the odds by living a long, comfortable life. She loved her home in Dorset where she lived for 70 years and enjoyed welcoming countless visitors during that time.

There will be no visitation or funeral. A celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
